The Court Services Team in the Viscount's Department

The Coroner is supported by the Court Services Team in the Viscount’s Department.

The Court Services Team carry out a wide range of administrative functions connected with a death and link the work of coroner's officers,  funeral directors and medical professionals to ensure decisions made by the Coroner are implemented. 

Because families will already have had contact with a coroner's officer, the Court Services Team and the Coroner do not usually contact families directly. However, if you need to contact the Coroner can do so via the Court Services Team using the details below.
