Employment and Discrimination

The Employment and Discrimination Tribunal is a judicial body established to resolve employment and discrimination related disputes both in the workplace and otherwise.

This is a free service to all parties.

Claims will be heard by a Chair sitting alone (a legally qualified lawyer) or a Tribunal panel, consisting of a Chair and 2 independent lay members.

It is not necessary to be represented by a lawyer.

The Tribunal cannot award legal costs in respect of any hearing. For information about the Tribunal and guidance on how to make or respond to a claim, please contact the Tribunal office or refer to the guides and forms located below.
